    Hey,

Recently my company had a bulk order of new Dell's come in.

The Dell Optiplex 9020. This Dell comes with a new network port.

So the current e1000e intel network drivers no longer work.

I have created a new ko file of the drivers for the 2.6.27.7 Kernal that LinuxPE uses.

So I uploaded them to the driver database and started up LinuxPE to test, but the drivers failed.

To the best of my knoweledge, I am not a Linux guy but I am trying to learn, I need to remove the current e1000e driver from the kernal and add the new one I have created to it. However, I don't know how to do that.

Any and all help is apericiated,

    Thanks,

    Pat

*I have uploaded the ko incase it can help

Update: I am now trying to create the KO file on the LinuxPE environment however it does not have the make command installed, or apt-get or yum, hell it doesnt even have clear.

Is there a package maker for LinuxPE?
