Before I install MR2, it would be great to have a list of all of the weird stuff that EndPoint MR1 broke on my clients so that I could try to review them all and get it all fixed before I confuse things with MR2.

 

So far, I've found multiple SNAC providers, TeeFer2 services, messed up scan lists that were pulled from 10.1 (causing duplicate scans), and of course maxed out error logs and all of the rest.  Every machine seems to have a different mix.  I have one client machine that won't connect to BackupExec anymore (the one that had the TeeFer2) and no amount of fixing seems to make that better.  I suppose I get to rebuild it.  The distribution of problems seems strange.  For instance, why one machine got teefer2 and the others did not is still a mystery to me.

 

If I had a list of all of this junk and a kbase reference for  the fix I could scan through all of my client machines and at least get this cleaned up before I try to do more to them.  It's probably too much to hope that MR2 would simply repair the MR1 errors.  I just tripped over the TeeFer2 thing yesterday which makes me wonder if there isn't other weird stuff out there that I haven't stumbled into yet.
