    Hello,

We have a problem on our SEPM , when we are going to start the luall.exe to download the definition , the process comlete successfully without error.

but nothing reflected on clients side. I couldn't find the new updates on these clients.

when I download the def. manually (jdb) file, and put it on the following path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\inbox\content\incoming"

I received an error in the same jdb and its name becomes as the following:

    vd3c4228.jdb.err

    I have SEPM 12.1 on windows server 2008 R2

Did this problem just start? Were any changes recently made to the SEPM?

Are there multiple file in the incoming folder? If so, delete all of them and place the jdb file in there again.

I believe you can open the file in a notepad. can you paste the contents?

You didn't mention whether the SEPM itself shows updated content after running LiveUpdate; if the SEPM is updated but the clients are not -- Admin > Servers > Tasks > Show LiveUpdate download -- then you should focus on client communication and the heartbeat process (do the clients have the green dot?). The .jdb isn't going to fix client communication issues.

    Hello,

I would request you to restart the SEPM server and check if it is then reflected on the client machines.

    Hope that helps!!
