    Hi,

When we include the categories “Storage Volumes” , “Disk Drives” only then the usb drives get blocked that is both these catogries have to be there in the block list to get the usb drives blocked. If the USB category is included it makes no difference. The disadvantage is that by adding those categories Secondary Hard Disks are getting blocked.

NOTE: By secondary harddisk I mean the second physical hard disk in the computer if installed.

    Thanks
    regards

Hi, there is no way to change the LiveUpdate proxy settings from within the SEPM. LiveUpdate is a completely different software which handles updates for all products of Symantec not only for SEP.

However, LiveUpdate itself uses Internet Explorer's proxy settings. So you can use group policies of AD to distribute proxy settings and proxy exceptions.

Login to SEPM and go to Admin>Server>Edit Server properties >Proxy Settinggs and you can configure it accordingly

The best thing is just you go and open control panel - > Symantec LiveUpdate - > Http and enter your proxy details.

I think you may solve the problem by this, go to control panel> live update, double click to open and configure.

From Control Panel open Live Update and then change the Proxy setting.
