Live Update error message

We get this message daily when MSMSE tries to hit the Live Update Server.

"LiveUpdate was unable to complete successfully. More information may be available in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate\Log.LiveUpdate"

We have SEP and MSMSE installed. This kb article mentions disabling Live Update for one of the products as they share definitions. Does it matter which product to disable Live Update on?

I think the solution is mentioned in the document you have mentioned above:

Example 2: Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Symantec products for Microsoft Exchange
Perform the following actions for all versions of Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition or Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition on the same computer as a Symantec product for Microsoft Exchange, all versions:

* Disable LiveUpdate in the Symantec product for Microsoft Exchange.
* Allow the Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition product to provide the definitions updates through VDTM or LiveUpdate.

In this case u can delete all the previous downloads and try to re-download it
