    Hi,

For LU 1825 error , can you try ?

    1. Uninstall both LiveUpdate and Symantec Endpoint Protection.
    2. Delete the following folders:
      • C:\Program Files\Symantec
      • C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared
      • C:\Users\All Users\Applications\Symantec (Windows Vista Home Premium; other Win OS's would be C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec)
    3. Restart the computer.
    4. Re-install LiveUpdate and Symantec Endpoint Protection. Only the latest available releases of LiveUpdate and SEP should be used.

Please note that uninstalling LiveUpdate will affect all Symantec products installed on the computer. If additional Symantec products are present, a Repair Install should be run on each of them from Add/Remove programs so that they correctly register with the new installation of LiveUpdate.

Uninstall the live update and reinstall the Live update with 3.3.1.23 .

Ran the  lucatalog -cleanup and lucatalog -forcedupdate  .

Ran the luall.exe and check it ...

So I understand, in the SEPM, you see Return Code = 87, and launching LiveUpdate manually (via LUALL.exe?) brings the LU 1825 error up?

All I can find for seeing the "Return Code = 87" message in the SEPM relates to the System account having incorrect or invalid proxy info (unfortunately I have no public documentation to link).  The LU 1825 error document discusses some things you've already done, plus repairing the SEPM installation.

(Which update is it failing on, or is it all of them?)

Do you work locally at your server, or through a remote connection?  If remote, is it a console session?  In my experience, things working AOK then suddenly and mysteriously failing with no other changes made usually comes down to non-console RDP; i.e. temp files from the session finally get purged or the session is disconnected (I've heard of sessions persisting for up to a year).  Repairing the SEPM installation while local or with a console session usually resolves RDP related issues.

    Hope this helps,
