This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi all,

I've just setup a LiveUpdate Server and configured the Distribution Center URL to be http://servername.domain:7070/clu-prod

Now all of my clients are using Symantec Corporate Edition 10.x
I've gone into the System Center Console and right clicked on one of the clients and gone All Tasks > Live Update > Configure to configure them.

I've configured the Internal LiveUpdate Server with the above URL and connection type to be HTTP.

Now when I log on to the client and launch LiveUpdate I can see it trying to connect to the server but then it comes back everytime saying 'Unable to connect' - I'm not sure whether there is something else I need to do or configure to enable the clients to see the definitions in the distribution centre.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
Hanré

Thanks guys I've managed to figure out what the problem was...

Our ISA server was blocking traffic to the URL so I added the domain suffix to the proxy exclusion list and that worked - clients are updating!
