As long as you can upload and download files via FTP and HTTP... You need to allow the LUA server to upload content via HTTP or FTP, then give the ability to your clients to download the content via HTTP or FTP. LUA does not need to be installed on the server hosting the content, you just need LUA to download the content, then distribute it to your HTTP/FTP server.
