  • 1.  Liveupdate does not update

    I have installed SAV version 8.00.9374 Server/Client Gold. Manual Liveupdate was working well always. Now suddenly after liveupdate  is says "all products installed are up to date" I think soemthing is wrong and it does not take the updates.

    For info I got infected with cyban0.dll (W32.Gammima.AG) and apparently quarantined.

    Please give some tips about this. Thanks a lot

    You are facing problem in server or in client?
    How it is configured to get the updates for client?
    Do you have a valid licence?
    If yes upgrade to sav 10 or SEP11 since sav 8 is already declared the EOL and it is a very old version..

    Symantec AntiVirus, version 8.x is no longer supported, and was discontinued as of November 30, 2005. Virus Definitions are no longer tested against discontinued products, and compatibility issues (such as these) may occur. In addition, older, unsupported versions of Symantec AntiVirus may not be able to protect your computer or environment against newer threats. As these threats are discovered, and designs are implemented to protect against them, they are included in the most current version of our products.
