  • 1.  Local Imaging for remote office

    In our primary location we have an Altiris DS 69 server setup. I have created a share drive on a server in one of our remote offices with the same permissions as our express share here. I have copied over the image files, created the drive mapping in our WinPE USB drive, copied over the RDeploy folder and all I keep getting when we try the image job is RDeploy: The File could not be opened with an error code of 41

    If we choose the job that points to our server in my location, it will start downloading the image but if we use the job to points to the local image, I receive the above error.

    Some one please help!

    I'd recheck permissions on that share and make sure that the user specified in your boot disk has rights to that share.

    Also check permisions on file level.
    If the share is set to all users and the ntfs permisions are set to deny the user will not have access.
