Location Awareness?

Hi,

I would like to know if we have laptop users that when they go outside our network that they AUTOMATICALLY connect to the internet to get their updates.  This should not have anything to do with what policy they have internally.

Also, this should apply to a laptop user internally as well.  If they go to one office they should get the updates from that office and not their other (fixed) office.

With Trend Micro this technology is known as location awareness.  Does Symantec have this?

Thanks in advance!
