Endpoint Protection

I have a Test Server with Endpoint Protection 11.0.6 installed. (win2003 sp2 r2)
On this Test environment I build different Groups with Gateway Address- Condition’s.
Location Awareness, Remember Last Location & Push Mode is on.
 
I read a lot of Location Awareness Article in the Forum, but all I have tried did not work as I expected.  
 
An example- per default all Clients are in the “Default Group”, Then I create the 18er Group with a new location (Condition is Gateway 10.147.18.1) The Location is the default for the Group an reside on first place.
Nothing Happened
Only when I MOVE the Client into the 18er Group, he recognizes that he is now in the 18er Group.

Please help me, I am at my wit´s end.........

That isn't how locations work, location conditions don't change the computers to different groups. A single group can have multiple locations. All of the clients in that group will be the only ones that will switch to those different location (they stay in the same group).

Take a look at this screenshot. This workstation group contains 2 locations, each with their own set of policies. Only the clients in this group will receive these policies, and be able to change locations (not change groups). Location awareness is used to have different policies assigned to a group of computers based on certain criteria, not to change the computers group.
