This issue has been solved. See solution.

I am in the process of setting up a new environment for SEP 11 MR4 MP2.  I have 304 remote locations that I need to create within a group.  Is there a way for me to import the names and subnets or will I have to manually create each one.

Hi, if you already have these

Hi,

if you already have these groups as OU's in Active Directory, you can import them, otherwise you have to create them manually.
Unfortunately there are not other answers, you can mark this post as "solution" to close this discussion in order to avoid duplicated posts.

Groups instead of Locations

I would not recommend to create 304 locations in 1 group. It is better to create a different group for each remote office or, as Giuseppe suggests, import your AD structure when possible.

Further details

I agree with dries and kajal, it is better creating 304 groups than 304 locations within a group. You should create a location or a group only if you need to apply a different policy for that group.

Giuseppe

Thanks for the quick

Thanks for the quick responses.  Looks like a lot of clicking as none of these locations are AD integrated.
