Locations Naming Gotcha

I created a location with a "&" character in it.  This was accepted in SEPM and the clients appeared to be connecting OK to it.  However, they were not updating.  Then I noticed that the location shown on the client under "Help & Support", "Troubleshooting" omitted the "&". 

I changed the "&" to the word "and" and now the client and SEPM locations match exactly.  And they are updating correctly. 

I presume this is a SQL issue, but SEPM needs to reflect this and prevent a user from entering invalid characters in the Location name.
