The most helpful part of entire Symantec connect is the Search button..do use it.
I have the same problem and tried the resetpass.bat after stoping the Manager service and it's not working. Any other solution, a registry hack maybe?
That really shouldn't be the case unless you are trying too hard.
The account gets locked after 3 unsuccessful login attempts and stays like that for 30 mins.
If that's the case, wait and do the resetpass.bat, Once that is complete:
Username : admin
Password : admin
You will be Prompted for changing the password once this is done.
De facto when AV does something, it starts jumping up and down, waving its arms, and shouting...
