**BrightMail Gateway Apliance Version 8.0.2**  I have a scheduled upgrade to 8.0.3 this week.

I have one user that routinely comes in the office on a Monday and has easily over 70 spam emails.

In the Message Audit Logs the verdict is None and the Actions is to Deliver message normally.

I really have this issue with only one user.  (Well only one who is reporting the issue)

I have been looking around the forums and found others with the issue, and have seen somethign about a tracking ID

Can this be used to determine why the email made it thorugh?
Besides forwarding this to symantec, what else can I do.

I have looked at this http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-gate.nsf/docid/2008080612113754
and have all but sender authentication enabled.

Is the user in a content/compliance group that would prevent spam filtering?
Are the spam from a small # of ip addresses?  Is SBG correctly blocking other spam from these IPs?
Is there any valid mail from these IPs?, if not, have you considered adding the offensive IPs to local bad senders by IP data base?

It sounds like this user's email address may be more visible than others. If you run a message audit log query for this recipient, do you see a lot of other messages marked as spam? I would suspect that we are still blocking 97% of incoming messages to this user as spam, but it is so much spam that missing 70 messages is in the 3 percent making it through

Also, keep in mind that direct marketing messages with an unsubscribe link do not count as spam and they should follow the unsubscribe link to get them to stop coming in.
