    whenever i try to open lotus notes i get the error message which i ahve attached as a file.

    open add/remove programs
    select symantec endpoint
    select modify
    under antivirus and antispyware ; expand
    select lotus notes autoprotect wil be unavailable
    run the install
    close lotus
    follow the same step to install lotus ap again
    check if the error persists.

    actually lotus notes autoprotect is already installed.

    yes thats why you are getting that error
    remove that autoprotect component
    reboot the box
    and install it again..

    For the benefit of those who don't want to open the image:

    "0x115 - RTVSCAN is operational and may be holding out memory, exiting. Please restart RTVSCAN or reboot the system"

    Is this Notes 8?

    From what I can find, if you disable the Notes plugin and this still happens, you may want to contact Notes support.  If I'm reading this document correctly, it looks to me like this was fixed in Notes 8.5.

    Lotus notes version is 8.02. And there was a design change in lotus so until its applied i got this message, now there is no more of this error. Anyway thanX for the information.
