Are there any best practices that could be done to minimize the CPU utilization of SEP 11.0.6 Clients on PCs with low memory storage ??

what is the process that is taking the CPU?

i believe it would be schedule scan (rtvscan.exe),if thats the case, schedule scanning at someother time.

Already tried that, but no use.

what are the components you have installed?

Antivirus and antispyware, proactive threat , network threat protection...if you have network threat protection component installed; remove that and check the performance

you can remove that by going to add/remove  programs; select SEP. select modify

remove NTP and reboot the box and check the performance..

do you mean rtvscan.exe is the culprit process?

does it consume CPU all the time or at the specific time?

No I mean I `ve already set the scheduled scan to run at off-work times,

The complaints are about CPU utilization most of the times, not at specific times.

It`s a mixed environment, some users have all the feat, and others have just the Antivirus and antispyware.

I will try to disable the NTP however that might not be preferred.

check if you have any files in quarentine folder; if so delete  all files and check the performance,may be its running scans on these files when new defs arrive and slowing down the system.
