Could you let us know how is the SEP Liveupdate Configured? Is it taking the updates from SEPM or LUA?
Incase of LUA, what version of LUA are you running? Make sure you are running the LUA 2.3.1 and above.
Secondly, Check this Article:

To get the LUA 2.3.1, Download the Latest DVD of SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1 .i.e;
Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1_RU1_MP1_Part2_Tools_and_Documents_EN.exe
...Tools\LiveupdateLUAESD.exe
