  • 1.  LUA clu-prod, clu-test and tempdownload are big

    Hi,

    I am using Symantec Live update Administrator ver. 2.2.2.9 to get updates for my Symantec Endpoint Preotection Manager ver. 11.

    I have problem with disk space.

    I have the purge settings set to weekly (keep 5 revisions back). My clu-prod, clu-test and TempDownload directories have 40GB together!!!

    What is the best configuration to get rid off them.

    I tried to purge settings set to daily (keep 5 revisions back), but I have still 40GB...

    I moved my update definition download folders to another drive by manual:

    Hi R_e_n_e,

    If you are still running LUA 2.2, then I strongly encourage you to upghrade.  LUA 2.3.1 is now available!

    I just keep 2 revisions, myself, and have the LUA configured to purge older files that are unnecessary on a daily basis.  Also: make sur ethat LUA is configures to download ONLY what you need, and not aldo contenst for optional components that are not used in your environment.  See "LiveUpdate Administrator: Product Selection Guide" for a SEP 12.1 example.  https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/liveupdate-administrator-product-selection-guide
