Endpoint Protection

We have an LUA 2.3 and it's constantly failing at 99%. When I try and re-run the download after that it says no further downloads or updates available. The LUA is distributing to a SEPM 11. Also when it fails it seems to then stop running it's next download jobs as I have it set to check for updates every 120 minutes and we have to manually launch the download.

Any ideas anyone?

I have not heard of any similar difficulties with LUA 2.3.  Are there any entries in the LUA Event Logs (perhaps repeated notes about one particular file failing to be downloaded?)

It would likely be necessary to examine the lua-application logs and other diagnostics from that LUA server to determine the root cause of this behavior.  For in-depth work like that, I recommend opening a case with Symantec Technical Support. 

Please do Personal Message me the case number when it is opened- I will have a look myself to see if I can spot anything unusual.

Nope already checked the event logs and so far nothing suspicious seen. Here are the logs from the last failure.

Cheers for the update!  It really would take a look at the lua-application logs to see what's happening, then.

I'll take a look through this article for now. I did try and raise a case online via support but kept getting an error message. If article does not have the solution I'll raise a case via the phone.

Could you please try to restart the service for LUA and then try downloading updates

Ok looks like it had a bit of either corupt definition or catalogue. I deleted all the downloads from the temp download package and ran the download schedule again and it completed successfully.
