  • 1.  LUA distribution event log

    1. Refer to below LUA log, can anyone tell me why the distribution schedule job suceeded on 11/26/12, but failed on 12/10/12 ?

    2. Can someone clarify the meaning of below log items 1,2,3,4?

    1. I am not able to find any distribution failed messages, but able to see one download failure message on 12-9-12. It may be due to various reasons like internet was not available at the particular time. You may have to look into other logs as well for information.

    2. The first message is related to the purge of old contents. This is configurable under configure-->Preferences in LUA

    The second message says there is no content to purge as per the configuration under configure-->preference

    The third and fourth about the content distribution schedule which can be configured under download and distribute tab in LUA.( Clients will be downloading updates from this distribution point.)

    I will change the schedule time to see if distribution task can be run successfully.

    Can you please advise the file location of "other logs" ?

    Hello,

    What version of LUA are you running? Make sure you have LUA 2.3.2

    Hi SymQNA,

    Those screenshots look pretty healthy to me.  I agree that there is one download job which looks liek it failed.  Following the recommendations in the following article is likely to resolve that.
