  • 1.  LUA Migration from 2.3.1 to 2.3.3

    Good morning,

     

    We encounter an issue with MAC OS updates which are not deleted by the purge. It seems that the issue is linked to the curretn version of LUA (2.3.1)

     

    We will probably migrate to LUA 2.3.3.

     

    I do not found a WI for migrate 2.3.1 to 2.3.3 without any losses of configuration or data.

     

    Is there a documentation to migrate automatically ?

    You can upgrade from 2.2.2.9 through 2.3.2 to 2.3.3. You can download the latest version of LUA from the following website.This installer will upgrade you to the latest build

    Huh, we currently have LUA 2.3.1.

    I believe you can upgrade from LUA 2.3.1 to 2.3.3

    @James007 : A point is weird for me in the link.

    You can upgrade from 2.2.2.9 through 2.3.2 to 2.3.3.LiveUpdate is packaged with Apache Tomcat version 7.0.54 and PostgreSQL version 9.3.1. See “System requirements for LiveUpdate Administrator” on page 6.

     

    What about 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 ? or 2.3.3 directly ?

     

    @Chetan Savade : I believe too but the thing is that we want to upgrade with no a lot of changes that is to say keep the database and configuration parameters.

     

    We could start from scratch on the LUA 2.3.3 but its needs lots of change control (QA)

    Hi,

    I discussed with other engineers, To upgrade LUA follow this path:

    LUA 2.3.1 --> 2.3.2 --> 2.3.3
