I have a user here whose luall.exe for Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 and their luall.exe live update process is constantly using high cpu and high memory usage. I looked in the log file and i did not see any errors. We have tried a full reinstall of Symantec and the liveupdate and nothing has worked so far. I am looking for some ideas on what to try. Thanks

Re

Hi, can you post Liveupdate logs?

Can you try to do a repair on your SEP? on control panel add/remove. You may also want to try Microsoft Cleanup Utility in removing SEP, then reinstall.

Launch the client interface or server console

Open SEP client -> Help and Support -> About -> 11.0.4014.26 <- Is this the version?

This version is very old and it is possible that your problem

is related to a bug in this version. If possible you should try to update the client that has problems to a newer version to see if that helps.
