Hi We current have back exec 10.1 installed on a windows server 2003 and we use this to back up a 10.4.8 mac os X server using the agent. We recently upgraded the backup exec to 10.1 and we now cant back the mac up. We know the root password is correct, we have changed and check it serveral times and under network login accounts if we run the test, it tests with out any errors. However we run the backup its says that either the password is incorrect or the account dosnt have the correct permissions, as none of these have been changed, can you tell us what we are doing incorrectly.

For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-65065

thanks. We have resolved the problem, the mac account needs to be setup when the service account is logged on and then the unrestricted tick is unticked and finally the machine will back up.
