  • 1.  Mac Lion inventory issue

    We are trying to test support for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion on 7.1 SP2. The agent is installed and is communicating with the NS, however, when we try to run an inventory, it fails with the error:

     -2111635346, Failed to find the task handler

     The NS is configured as the only Task Server and the agent on the Macs show that they are registered with the task server. Any suggestions?

    Have you installed the Inventory plug-in?  It's under Settings->Agents/Plug-ins->Discovery and Inventory, I believe.

    I'm having exactly the same issue on the first run on Lion.

    It seems that a reboot of the MAC resolves this issue for me. With the next inventory run it then suddenly works.
