What components of SEP did you install? Please uninstall AntiVirus Email component if you have and check if the Outlook is working correctly.

Not sure about what would cause it in 10.6, but we don't support 10.7... so anything that doesn't work there wouldn't be a surprise.

Also, SEP for Mac doesn't have the email plug-ins, so if we're interferring with the email, it's because of Auto-Protect. You could make an exception for the email folders (not recommended as a permanent fix) and see if it changes behavior.

As for Outlook 2011, I'm sure they do things different from Outlook 2007 and some adjustments may not be seen until RU7.

When the user that started this thread said 10.6/7, I am sure they are talking about 10.6.7, not 10.7.

10.7 has not been released yet. So Are you saying that 10.6.7 is not supported or 10.7, which is not released yet?

    Thanks!!!!

OS X 10.7 (Lion) is in beta, I believe, and SEP is definitely not supported on it. My Mac's up to 10.6.7 and SEP 11.0.6300 works just fine.

As mentioned, there are no email scanners for the Mac client. Centralized Exceptions will work for Autoprotect, but bear in mind not for scheduled/manual scans.
