Mac's appear as 2 different computers when in automation vs production

The current ADLAgent 2.6-79 for DS 6.9 SP4 displays the computers (Macs) in automation and production differently when using the unique identifier as the serial and mac address. The MAC addresses don't match because in Automation there are no bluetooth and wireless devices working so the network device number changes.

The serial number in Automation displays as "Serial Number (system): ########" while in Production it displays simply "########". This causes DS to detect the machines as two separate computers.

I read somewhere that the beta version of the ADLAgent solves this problem. Is this true? And is there a beta ADLAgent that I can use?

Yup

Contact Technical Support and they can get the new ADLAgent to you.

Run around..

I contacted tech support about it, just keep getting sent to the Symantec Beta/First Availability site and there is nothing about DS or ADLAgent on there. Anywhere else specifically I can get it?

No luck

Have been contacting symantec and the altiris team (including asking for the mac specialist) and no responses yet. Can anyone just zip up the folder and upload it here?

I'm having an issue somewhat

I'm having an issue somewhat like this as well.  I have the ADLAgent 2.6-79 agent isntalled in 10.6 and on the windows side I have the latest dagent for 6.9sp4, I do believe built 453 or something like that. As the machines are booted back and forth from windows to the mac side i get multiple computer objects, and incorrect obkect. One machine will for instance in the console  will display  "labcomp-CA03" But if I look at it's properties it's an entirely different machine.  I've created a support ase, and hopefully the updateADLagent will resolve my issues as well.
