  • 1.  Mail released from quarantine but not reaching recipient

    Hi All,

    Any idea why this happening?

    Refer to attachment below, that's the error in Message Queues that we received from our quarantine 'dump' filter (where LDAP synchro option is available...)

    We're using SBG version 9.0.1 with the 'dumping' filter is 8.0.2-12

    cus,

     

         I'm not sure I completely understand your issue.  Mail comes into your domain that is destined for quarantine and the control center is sending it to another Brightmail Gateway Appliance running a different version of the Appliance software?  The screen Shot you sent would indicate an issue with the 8.0.2 box.  Have you looked at the Control Center and MTA logs on that appliance?

    Hi John,

    Yeah i think you rephrase it correctly there.

    How do i check MTA logs for this specific mail errors?

    So far i didn't see any other problem about releasing quarantined files from the CC.

    You would want to perform a Message Audit Log for the message. Once you find it, click on the recipient to view the full report. At the bottom to see the transaction logs for this message including which IP addresses we attempted to reach and what error they gave us if the message was not transmitted.
