Mailbox Archives - System Accounts.

Inherited an installation, and trying to clean out old Accounts.

I have mailbox archives that are basicly empty for KVS system, Anonymous Account and other

old mail server accounts.  I believe that these are not required, and want to just delete the archive not the account.  I wondering if I can have someone confirm that these are not required so i can clean up the accounts.  Do any of the KVS accounts require an active mailbox archive ( Other than the journal archive )

Thanks

John

These archives/enabled mailboxes are not required. The admin should not have enabled the system mailboxes for archiving. The mailboxes are used to move data from the Exchange server to the EV server. Not sure why the anonymous account was enabled. I would disable the accounts for archiving in EV and eventually ZAP the accounts using EVPM.

Thanks.... He didnt enable them directly... They just had all Mailboxes enabling themselves, and thus created one for every exchange mailbox.   I have cleaned out alot, and just wanted to make sure there wasnt a reason for having these archives, which I wasnt aware of.
