Protection Engine for Cloud Services

Hi all,

We are using shaerpoint 2010.

One of our requirement is that whenever a file gets uploaded,we need the result or status of Symantec scan saying that "File is clear" or something.

Then the Upload dialog box should pop up which says "File gets uploaded".

But the thing is that we dont want to generate reports through "Symantec Console".

Is it possible?

You should consider simply purchasing Symantec Protection for SharePoint Servers:

The Scan Engine it self cannot automatically popup a result for you. If you are writing the connector that requests the scan be done by Scan Engine then it would be up to the connector to display a message based on the result returned by the Scan Engine.
