    Hey everyone,

At my company we have a in house tool we use and I ran into an issue where SEP insight blocked the download of the files that were needed to run the app. Once we figured out that it was SEP blocking the files I was able to allow them manually per computer, but I was wonding if there was a way to add those files as safe to the SEPM so this won't happen again?

    Hello,

By default, clients send information about reputation detections to Symantec.

Symantec recommends that you enable submissions for reputation detections. The information helps Symantec address threats.

See Enabling or disabling client submissions to Symantec Security Response.

    Read: Managing Download Insight detections

Again, to make sure that the detections are Whitelisted, we would suggest you to submit the files to the Symantec Security Response Team on:

    and

    Hope that helps!!

    Agree with the above.

Submit the information here. Also create a support case to keep track of the submision. Note that this may take a while and the exception you have created is the right thing at the moment.

elango252006 your link helped out a lot I was able to add those files to the exceptions list on our SEPM.

I will be looking into our Symantec setting to make sure we are reporting back to Symantec.

    Thanks for all the help
