Malware bytes in the last 3 weeks upgraded their software. On my 2003 Windows Server I keep getting logged error messages that mbamservices.exe and mbam.exe are creating tamper log enteries.

Despite placing an exception in policies-exceptions in SEPM  to ignore these files and applying the policy to all clients, this error keeps showing up in my log file on the client (in this case the server) and in my Server Windows Error log. Litterally hundreds of times a day.

Please advise.

It is advised not to install 2 Antivirus Softwares on the same machine as it could be a security risk in itself.

In general, it's not a good idea to have more than one antivirus program installed on your computer. Each program may interpret the actions of the other as viral, therefore giving you false warnings about virus-related activities.

There are also chances that 1 Antivirus may try to stop another Antivirus services from running.

For 12.1 RU1 MP1 we plan to change tamper protection to "block but do not log" by default, based on field feedback that the feature is noisy.

Yes it would be nice if one antivirus program worked reliably. Until that day I need Malwarebytes as well.

Thats good, because in the last few days I am getting even more warnings, Now from Adobe and even my Dragon Dictation. I may have to turn it off completely.
