So there is my quick question.

I have policies that I am using to push out base software to my completed image. I would like to create a second policy to install software AFTER the initial install is complete and compliant. Is there a way to make the second or third or fourth policy wait until the other are complete.

I had to break up the software into different policies becuase not everyone gets the same thing.

    Thanks!

Currently, there is no ordering ability in an MSD, and I have not found a way around it.  You could make the 2nd or 3rd policy dependent on the first being complete with dependencies, but it can get convaluted quick, and won't be delivered in a timely fashion.

You could clone an existing MSD policy and rename it something else. IE (Firefox/Office2010/AdobeFlash -> BaseSoftware2013) Then add each software in which order you want it in.

Next, select Advanced options for each software and under the 'results-based actions' select "Abort" upon failure.

This way, what ever is first, will be installed first. And if it fails, the next won't kick off.
