Managing replicated data at DR site

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have the following configuration for my NBU environment:

Domain at main site (master server & 3 dedupe appliances).

Domain at DR site (master/media dedupe appliance).

AIR is replicating production policies from main to DR site.

Problem is we don't have enough dedupe storage (at least I'm pretty sure we don't) at the DR site to retain all of it for the full 90-day DR retention on the dedupe disk.  So I need to roll data off to physical tape - which in the past I used Vault to accomplish.  But when I setup a vault and run it... it doesn't actually do anything.

Investigation seems to point at the possibility that vaulting of replicated images may not be possible?  So... what are people doing to manage their replicated images in environments like this?

Thanks in advance,

-Mike-

For already replicated images, you have to do manual duplication using GUI([NetBackup Management]-[Catlalog]) or bpduplicate command.

For incoming backups, define duplication task in target SLP. But by this method, it is not possible to track tapes like Vault. you have to write your own script to tack and report tapes.
