It's request to you add Basic required info as field under Create New Forum

i.e. Application version

Operating System with Service Pack

Affected Application (Optional)

Many times Thread is extended just to get basic info only

Has been mentioned a fair few times.

Had a quick look in the "Inside Symantec/Ideas" area but couldn't find anything - could well be in the NetBackup forum pages &/or Ideas section as we had a long list of such 'requirements'.

Maybe time to create that 'Idea' or point us in the direction of an existing one?

Confirms my believe that IDEAS section is where most good ideas go to die......

...I'd second that, but it needs to not be created too broadly. Ie: Windows Server 2000/2003/2008; Linux; HP-UX etc.

Exchange 2000/2003/2007/2010. I'd hate to fill out reems and reems of information.
