    Hello,

I need to delay outbound message delivery based on a condition (message size bigger than x MB) until a specific time of the day.

I was not able to find something relevant in the "action" field of the "content filtering" policies.

Is this possible using Symantec Messaging Gateway? and how?

    Thanks,

    Justine.

We have no built-in mechanism for this. You could try something round about like sending the messages to the a content compliance folder, since that has retention settings and you can also manually approve them.

    Thanks for the response.

I understand that I need to create a "Content Incident Folder" and configure the "Content Filtering Expunging Cycle".

I can see that the "delay" option is global for all the folders. Is it possible to delay the delivery of messages belonging to a specific folder?

    Thanks,

    Justine.

When you create a folder, you set the setting for when the default action will be taken. This can be configured differently for each folder. The setting you are referring to is how often to check for that expunge time/date.
