  • 1.  Manually remove SEE-RS client?

    Hi,

    is there any way to manually remove the SEE-RS client on Win7? There is a TECH-Article for non Win7 clients. But I don't find anything for Windows 7. Could somebody help me out here, please?

    Version is 8.2.1

    I'm afraid you might have to log a case with Symantec Support, I don't believe there is anything more uptodate than the article you linked at this time.

    TBH, you should still be able to amend/delete the regkeys highlighted in the article.  As far as I can tell, the only bit that won't work is the removal of the files/folders which require the use of the IceSword util.

    Perhaps you could try using the SysInternal tools instead, and set the files/folders for deletion on reboot when they are no longer used:

    If you have a test machine handy then this might be worth a go, otherwise it's Symantec Support case time!
