  • 1.  Massive traffic caused by Conduit

    Hi, few days ago I had installed Symantec Brightmail Message Filter, v6.2.
    Everything is working fine, but I concluded that Conduit sevice is generating massive traffic. It is about 2 Mbps all the time (with some short interrupts).
    Is it threre any solution to decrease that massive traffic.

    P.S. Previously, we had Symantec Seurity for SMTP, and there was no that problem.

    Hi Amanda, the problem is still occuring. OS is Widows server 2003 R2, Standard Edition. Language locale is English (US). There are no errors is conduit logs.
    Plesase find in attachments: Traffic graph and Conduit log.

    Hi Josip,

    Are you still seeing the issue occur? What OS and what language locale are you running? Are there any errors in the conduit logs?

    We did identify one circumstance under which unexpected increased bandwidth could occur which has now been corrected. If  you're still having issues I would recommend placing a call into support so that we can troubleshoot.
