Master Server hardware migration

This issue has been solved. See solution.
I need to upgrade the hardware what my NetBackup master servers runs on. I have been reading that the hostname needs to stay the same which it will. I want to know if the IP can change. The master server will be moving to a new datacenter so the IP address has to change. Let me know if anyone has done this before and if i can do this by keeping the name the same and changing the IP address only.

The 'migration' TN's indeed say that the hostname and IP must remain the same, but because IP addresses are not stored in any NBU databases, this can be done.
Just ensure that all OS-level changes are successful - DNS, hosts, etc.
