  • 1.  Mcafee is installed and Symantec Management Agent Installation Failed

    Hi,

    I have installed SMP 7.1 SP2 M1.1 and I am trying to push the Altiris agent on client machines but the problem is that Mcafee is installed on client machines. When I stop services of Mcafee I can Install the agent by push method but when Mcafee services are running it fails immidiatly, kindly can any one knows what exceptions I need to give in the exclusion list of Mcafee which allow me to install.

    Hello Vicky, have you checked the MacAfee logs, as they should list what has been bloicked?

    Hi SK,

     

    Thank you, I have checked the logs but did not get any clue but anyhow. I can now install the agent even Mcafee security is ON. Realisticly I did not do any thing but just make sure that all network requirements are ok.

    still I want to know what to exclude in antivirus wnvironment not only for McAfee.
