  • 1.  MD5-Hash.TXT -> ftp.symantec.com -> .sh Dateien

    Hallo!

     

    Weiß evtl. jemand, wie die MD5-Hashwerte in der MD5-Hash.txt generiert werden?

    Ich habe seit kurzem ein Projekt gestartet, welches die MD5 Hashwerte mit dem Download vergleicht (ich lade mir mit wget (unter Windows 7 x32) die Dateien runter).

    Interessanterweise stimmen die Hashwerte der .exe Dateien mit denen in der MD5-Hash.txt überein.

    Dafür stimmt bei mir kein einziger Hashwert der .sh-Dateien. Ich habe es mit wget versucht und mit direktem Download über einen Browser.

    Zum manuellen Erzeugen der Hashwerte benutze ich HashMyFiles.

     

    Hat jemand eine Idee?

    The hash will be consistent no matter program is used to create them. It only changes when a file is maniuplated.

    Just tried the same with 20121203-002-unix.sh (MD5: 59638F8ABFE6332B54534CBBDACC70BD), works flawlessly (Windows, Firefox, HashCalc). Try it again ... or with a different ftp client.

    I forgot to mention that at work I'm working behind a proxy.
    After I read your message, I've downloaded the files at home. The MD5 hash matches.

    Because the hash value of the .exe files matches I could not explain why it should not be at the same at the .sh files.
