MDM 7.2 Hard Disk Space Requirement

    Hi guys,

    I would like to know what are the system requirements for MDM 7.2? How much hard disk space does it require? From this link here it says approximately 10 GB for large scale enterprise.

    Our implementation will be Symantec Management Platform 7.1. I believe the Disk Space requirement below will be almost similar with the 7.1 version.

    However I was told it would be best to have 100 GB. If it really needs 100 GB, I may need to justify to the customer on the huge requirement? Is it due to the database?

    Please advice since I am bit confused

    Hello Aidil,

    10 GB will not hold for long depending on what you are doing with SMM.
    I mean depending on the amount of devices and the inventory schedule set for the agents alone will lead to a different results of disk space usage.
