  • 1.  Merging 2 SEPM Consoles into 1 on SEP 11

    Posted Jan 05, 2012 03:32 PM

I have 2 SEPM Consoles and both are at SEP 11 RU 6 MP 3.

I need to know if there is a way to Merge them? This includes the SQL DB's also.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

You cannot directly merge two different SEPM consoles and the underlying SQL DB data as well, unless while deploying SEPM you setup the replication between 2 sites.

Although using any console you can access and manage the other SEPM by specifying the server name while logging in.

you may configure the SEPM's connecting to 1 instance of SQL as a failover/load balancer.

    Hi,

As above stated it's not possible to merge to SEPM's with each other.

If you wish to remove one SEPM, you can migrate all load to single server.

If you wish to use both SEPM's , replication/ Failover & loadbalancing can be one of the available options.
