Message on SEPM, "Could not retrieve physicalFile".
Created: 12 Sep 2011 | 8 comments
One of the SEPMs in our environment is generating the following messages:
"Failed to create a folder to which to publish the package in"
- and -
"Could not retrieve physicalFile. So skipping ID: 7401C35872DE8258C6D349018A52ADBA".
I did delete some old client packages, so I believe the SEPM is looking for a deleted package with an ID of "7401C35872DE8258C6D349018A52ADBA". However, I have not been able to find a package with an ID of "7401C35872DE8258C6D349018A52ADBA".
Can anyone tell me which package has a GUID of "7401C35872DE8258C6D349018A52ADBA"? Or, is there a list of package GUIDs and their associated product descriptions?
Thanks!

I followed your suggestion,
I followed your suggestion, but I didn't see an event for when I deleted the package. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Question and Suggestion.
Hello,
You deleted the Packages from what location??
Could you please Run the upgrade.bat file as Administrator?
Possibly, the Package deleted would be retrived with the help of above steps.
OR
Remove the references to that group ID from the database.
Hope that helps!!!

I deleted the package from one of our SEPMs using the SEP Console (Admin>Install Packages). I deleted a couple of old packages no longer in use from the list of available packages in "Client Install Packages".
I will run upgrade.bat as Administrator.
How can I remove references to the group ID from the database? I believe "7401C35872DE8258C6D349018A52ADBA" is referring to a package, but maybe it is referring to an old group.
Thanks!
Hi Mithun, I ran upgrade.bat

I ran upgrade.bat as Administrator but the message is still appearing. Is there anything else that I can try?
Thanks.
