Messaging Gateway

Currently running 10.6.0-7 and when trying to download any of the updates i receive the following, i have tried this via the GUI with no success.

This is only affecting the CC, scanners are fine.

BMG-CC> update download
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, sym_check, sym_output, sym_proxy

0 sqlite files removed
0 metadata files removed

CC and scanners are separated, right?

Looks like CC cant resolve or access the symantec repository server.

What you can do:

Gui - Administration, Utilities, select your CC and nslookup swupdate.brightmail.com -> should get you some ips

SSH - open session to CC with support-user. "wget -p https://swupdate.brightmail.com/" -> should get you "200 OK"

Thanks for your reply Tom, even though the appliance is allowed through the firewall after adding the proxy settings the download was successful.
