Is there any guideline for migrating a BE 2010 R3 to BE 2012 running in a new server?

BE 2012 is quite different from previous versions of BE. I would suggest that you read my article below before proceeding

When you are ready to proceed, I would suggest that

1) get the new .slf licence files for BE 2012 from Symantec Licencing.

2) copy the Data and Catalogs directory under the BE installation directory. This is in case anything goes wrong with the upgrade.

3) upgrade your existing BE 2010 to BE 2012

4) migrate the newly-installed BE 2012 to the new server using the procedure in the document below
