they are asking it because the system has been updated three times and its bit sluggish and they want to just create a new instance of server and migrate it .

so is there a way to do it a script or any thing like that.

    any help will be appreciated.

ServiceDesk 7.5+ has in-place upgrades available. So you don't need to migrate data.

Well the MP1 update is designed to install over the top of your existing ServiceDesk 7.5 installation.

If your desire is to move your installation to a new server then you should be able to simply perform the following steps.

    1. Run the installer for ServiceDesk 7.5 MP1 onto a new server.
    2. During the installation wizard specify your existing process manager database.
    3. Publish any custom projects to the new server.
    4. Redirect calls to your ServiceDesk 7.5 machine to your new ServiceDesk 7.5 MP1 machine.

This is a high level view as there may be some additional steps required to make sure everything is functioning properly in your specific environment.

An additional step you will need to take is to update the URL links already stored in the database for the old data to point to the new SD 7.5 MP1 machine.
