  • 1.  Migrate SEPM 12.1 DB From SQL 2008R2 to 2012?

    Posted Jul 14, 2014 12:38 PM

    Hi,

Apologies if this is a duplicate thread but couldn't find this info while searching:

Is there any preperation that I need to do before I migrate SEPM 12.1 DB From SQL 2008R2 to 2012?

I am planning to perform a backup\restore to the new server and then re-run the Server Configuration Wizard but just wanted to make sure no DB Preperations are needed.

    Thanks,

    Matt

As long as you have the backup done you should be fine, similar steps here:

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

There are best practices articles to follow in this case.

Here it goes: Best Practices guide for moving the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager SQL Server database from one drive to another on the same machine
