Need to move our 10.5.1 RMS BVIS from a Windows 2003 SP2 32-bit server to a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server. Anyone have any experience with this scenario? What would be the best approach such as backup/restore options, or just install new and just import queries? What are the steps for moving RMS Data Collection from 2003 32-bit to 2008 64-bit?
Some background: We are running v10.5.1 on a Windows 2003 SP2 Server (32-bit) but going to v11 on a new Windows 2008 Server 64-bit. Because of some missing features in v11 and not having a migration path for all our RMS queries, we need to keep our RMS data collection BVIS. But, I want to move this off of its current server (2003) and onto the new server (2008) that I have v11 installed onto.
I cannot seem to find this same scenario in the KB or Community but curious if anyone else has done this.
